BioSpeedia is a biotechnology company founded by two scientific researchers from Institut Pasteur.
We develop and produce rapid diagnostic tests in the form of innovative kits for health professionals and the clinical diagnostic markets. Some tests can be performed by non-professional users: the self-tests.
Rapid test kits to aid in the diagnosis of infectious diseases
We offer various Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) kits for infectious diseases. These are immunochromatographic tests designed for the qualitative detection of antigens (antigenic tests) or antibodies (serological tests) of different pathogens. They are intended to be used quickly, close to the patient or by the patient himself. Each protocol can be performed in minutes and is simple to implement.
In the case of the detection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus responsible for Covid-19, we offer serological tests (detecting antibodies against the virus) and antigenic tests (detecting the virus directly).
Serological tests can be used by health professionals, using whole blood, serum or plasma.
Antigenic tests can be used by health professionals or by the patient himself (self-test). They are offered in different packaging (by 25, by 5 or unit) and can be used on different types of samples (nasal or nasopharyngeal).
We also offer diagnostic tests for other diseases: meningococcal and pneumococcal meningitis and pneumococcal respiratory infection. Our teams are currently working on developing tests to detect other infectious diseases.
